  • Deposits and Payments on Orders

    All orders must be paid in full when order is placed. If you elect check payment, we will begin processing your order after we receive payment. Alternative payment methods avialable for immediate processing of your order include: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover Card.

    There is a $35 return check service charge. We do not accept a personal check or credit card payments to replace a check that has been returned. If a check is returned the face value of the check, plus the $35.00 returned check fee may be paid by cashiers check.

  • Logos and Artwork

    Logo artwork must be in acceptable format to ensure good quality results. The process used for laser engraving and large format digitial printing is different than the process used for printing on your printer. An image that looks good on a printer may not engrave or digitially print well.

    Printers can handle grayscales of artwork which creates a smoothing effect in the printed result. Laser engraving uses a burning technique to engrave the image into the product and engraves each pixel, regardless of shade level found in grayscale images.

    For laser engraving acceptable formats include:

    TIFF; BMP; JPG or other raster images that are 1-Bit black and white camera ready artwork. No grayscale. Images should be in a minimum of 300 DPI resolution.

    CorelDraw; Adobe Illustrator; EPS; PDF vector artwork that has all text converted to curves or outlines.

    Unacceptable Files

    JPG or GIF images or other low resolution images converted to a TIFF or BMP and even if the resolution is changed to 300 DPI, are not acceptable if the original image was less than 30 DPI. Simply saving a file as a new file type does not increase the quality of the pixels in the artwork itself. Imagess from web sites are typically 72 or 96 DPI. Please contact your company graphics department to obtain a High Resolution logo, vs using one off your company's web site.

    If you do not have a high resolution image or must use one from your company web site, please be aware that the end result may not look professional. We can re-design the image if you prefer using the artwork you supply, however there is a re-design fee of $35, for the first 30 minutes and $15 for each additional 15 minutes.

    Do not embed image files inside word documents or other documents such as spreadsheets, rather provide the artwork file itself. For you convenience you can send your artwork via our "Send a File" section located on the left side of the Signsations Home Page

  • Mounting an office or door sign

    There are several mounting methods for affixing a sign to a door or wall. The most common method is double sided tape, which we can provide upon request. Another method is silcone adhesive, which is available at your local Home Depot or hardware store. Name Plates and metal plaques can be affixed via screws. Metal plaques are not recommended for sheet rock walls and doors because of the weight of the plaques.

    Signs with stand-offs are mounted with individual stand-offs which are screwed into the wall after which the sign is secured to the stand-offs via a screw that goes through the sign into the stand-off.

  • Return/Refund Policy

    All orders are provided on a Custom Basis. Each product is designed, assembled and personalized with engraving and/or digital printing, and once built it is non returnable as it can not be sold to other customers due to the custom nature of the item in question.

    If there is an error on engraving or digital printing that is due to an error on our part, you may request a return merchandise authorization to return the item within 15 days after the date your order was delivered or picked up and we will make any corrections at our expense with like or similar item as may be available.

    There is no refund even if the engraving is due to an error on our part. We will correct any errors, or re-engrave/print with the correction on a new item of similar material. Any spelling errors on the customers part are the responsbility of the customer. We only engrave/print what has been approved via signed proof, by the customer. We do not check text submitted by the customer as there are valid reasons to spell words a certain way that is different than traditional spelling.

    All orders will be submitted to the customer as a proof via a PDF. Customers must sign off on the proof before production will begin. Please ensure that you review proofs fully before approving.

  • Shipping Policies

    Signsations ships throughout North America. Shipping is FREE in the United States on orders greater than $150 except for directories and metal plaques. Shipping times varying based on carrier and destination. Most shipments go out using UPS Ground. In some cases we use other carriers such as FedEX or United States Postal Service, depending upon the least expensive method of shipping. You will be provided with a shipment tracking number and expected delivery date once orders have been shipped.

  • Warranty

    Products that have a warranty are covered by the manufacturers warranty and vary depending on the product and/or the material used. Questions regarding specific products should be directed to the customer service department.
